Had a few requests to add full deck plates to the existing Outpost Off Road sliders we stock. Makes since, they become a step slider. They would work well this way also since they don't have a steep angle to them.

Easy to add to them since they are stocked raw, welding on them is not a problem and still be able to ship them quickly. Right now they have the step plate that is dimple die pressed. This makes a great step and adds strength to the DOM tubing rub rail. It keeps cost and weight down, looks good and is useful.

IF we did offer a full deck we would have to stock them with/out the step plate. We can do that but curious what you think for the look of the custom deck options? Expanded metal, solid with matching dimple die holes, or solid sheet?

This is what they look like right now. (They also just went on sale for March/April for $432 for the pair with the discount code that was e-mailed this morning)

Thoughts?

Dimple looks great.

Sweet!

Great idea!
Curious, what would full dimple plate decking add to the cost?

I'm In

Alright, I'm in. The first thread about these sliders put them on my radar, and I told myself that if you offered them on a group buy or deal I'd go for it. I guess it's time to put up or shut up! How do I get the e-mail code?
Anybody want to split shipping to SLC?
Oh, And I like them just the way they are, clean and simple.

We will have to run the first sets to get a cost. PM me and I can do a intro price quote we will do (low low) and we will cover any extra costs once we do the first run.

Yeah, I guess that was my first post :). These sliders look really nice and Metal Tech's reputation is reassuring. At $540 they look like good value, but for $432 they are irresistible! I'll send in my order this evening. Thanks!

Hey Mark, PM inbound re: shipping.

I have received a number of shipping quote requests. Happy to quote shipping in PM's, Phone (503-822-1111) or e-mails info (at) Metaltech4x4.com.

We also have 24/7 real time truck fright quoting live on our website. (huge investment by Metal-tech 4x4 for this, 2 months of working with custom coding and why you don't see it on other websites much.) Just put the sliders in the shopping cart and use the get shipping estimates. Our web sit figures out the best option, and even can bundle other items in at the same time.

Ok so its a go to do some test sets with full dimple die decking as an option. Kendal in the shop is going to love the quality press time. ;p It does look nice, I like the dimple die look all aircraft like.

Come 'n get 'em!

I'd love to! But alas, only 10 hours of vaca (read: one shift) left until the end of July when the city dumps it on me all at once.

4 days just ain't enough to make it there and back and be worth it, even as much as I dig the west coast. ;)

I received my set of these sliders last Tues. Heck, I might be the 1st one to own a set of these bad boys. Quality looks top notch and great customer service too. Brandon from MT was excellent to work with on figuring out the best shipping costs and processing the order for me.

I plan to prep and paint them soon. Just waiting for a day warm enough to do it.

I look forward to doing business with them again. Many thanks Metal Tech/OPOR!

I would be very interested to see them plated across

It is difficult to tell by the pictures, but do these work well as a step? As compared to the MT sliders?

Will these fit on a lx with AHC?

so essentially the part with the three holes would be would be the full length of the slider plus the kick out?

also what is the general angle of the slider step compared to the frame?

Thanks

LT or Mark need to confirm, but my understanding is that both MT and OPOR sliders will now accommodate all flavors of UZJ100. There is a slight upcharge for the LX for the wood trim... :)

Oregon, what is your impression of the OPOR compared to your Metaltechs?
They look similar in that photo.
