I am getting the TJM bumper from Slee for the 100. Wanted to know how to crank torsion bars once installed to counteract weight of bumper.

So, what do I need and how do I do it?

Also, got my front end fixed and saw Lash at Walmart right before Christmas. (completely random, I know)

Good to see you Matt. Lunch tomorrow at the Cherokee at noon. Meeting Jan 3rd at 6:00.
Sorry I'm no help on the torsion bars. Yours makes the 2nd TJM on a hunnerd in the Jxn metro.

I'm not trying to start anything here, I'm just trying to understand if I'm missing Robbie's point: How does putting the truck in gear speed up or slow down the oiling process? Irrespective of whether the truck is in gear or not, the engine is still running, and either it's going to oil the chain or not. If putting the truck in gear too soon somehow affected oil pressure, etc, then I could understand, but it seems to me that within a few seconds of starting, the engine will develop oil pressure, and with the exception of increased pressure due to RPM, the engine is oiling everything it is going to oil.......again, I could be missing the logic here, that's why I'm asking and not intending to "correct."

I'm guessing it has to do with putting it under a load.

Andy, if want a 100 then get one. I miss the hell out of mine. But if you pack anything like we do your load will grow to max out the size of the container. If you need space, put a topper on the Tundra.

Glamour shots of the TJM bumper. Front end sunk an inch. So to get it back just crank the torsion bars and measure, right?

Absent mindedness allowed me to put this in classified. Sorry.

Just saw it at BWW.... Dude. Cherokee is so superior

I know. I had a friend that I needed to visit with. Turns out you know him. He looked at the gluckstadt mail-it a few months back. I'm going to get involved in the LC club, though, if y'all will have me. :)

Feeler......

My boss is discussing a new LC and was considering trading his 05 LX when I explained he would get more selling it......I assume he would ask about $19,500 for it. It's an 05, dark grey color......his wife's grocery getter......any interest?

Has some kid markings in back seat but nothing that couldn't be cleaned up and i don't know mileage

Come back when you know more than it is just an 05 LC....get details.

It's an LX not a LC and what's to know?...they all have a 4.7 liter V8, auto, leather, etc.....right?....it's the dark grey color (pic) and he would probably take $19.5....

only variable is mileage which for $19.5 I would think is around 150k
