I'm lurking waiting on the details as well, but I've never researched the LX. Are there many differences from the LC? Most of the LX's I've glanced at had AHC; was that a standard feature? I've specifically been looking for LC's that didn't have that option.
 
I just called him...84k on the odometer...90k service has not been done. he is wanting to buy a new one and then unload this one and is actually at a dealership now so in the next few weeks, month he would be ready to unload it?

if somebody gets serious I can take a look at it, do pics and or arrange contact with owner

What about from a lifting/building point of view down the road? I'm looking for a daily driver, but had ideas of possibly building whatever I find several years down the road.

So is $19,500 what he wants for it?
 
You can "lift" an AHC truck with a switch from Slee that will trick the system and run it in HIGH mode all the time.

It is being done all the time.

Failures in this system are rare if serviced.

He mentioned that number but it seems low to me. He may have bee confused with what they were offering on trade in. I would think around $30k for that truck.

The japanese must be much better at the AHC then the germans. My wife's GL450 had all the air struts replaced once and some twice. I have to admit to being a little shy about another AHC system but think the lexus and toyo version is better.
 
My sister is selling her 2001 LX 470. 160k miles. Asking $11,000 obo.
