ANYTHING is possible with enough time and money........Just ask @scottryana .......

You'd do it for Randolph Scott!!!!

Well most of my builds are low budget using parts off of others cars, but yes anything can be done!! It's just a matter of how badly you want to do it! lol

I had to look up Randolph Scott. But it looks like a funny spoof western! Lol

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott?!

6.0 LS2 here in Australia is a 20K drive-in-drive out swap.

Slee put a 4.7 into my 1997 80 series about 4 years ago. Every gauge and dash control works, AC is fine, it doesn't run hot and I get 15.5 mpg averaged over city and highway. The fun factor is incredible- awesome V8 sound out of the exhaust, great acceleration, can cruise uphills at altitude in a headwind without having 18 wheelers passing you (actually happened to me all day long in South Dakota with the 1FZ). I have frequently considered selling the 383 5 speed FJ40 and the 1999 TRD S/C'ed UZJ100 and using the money to do another 80 series with that 4.7, so I can enjoy the V8 and solid axles out west as well as in VA....
