Save yourself weight and money, go with 1/2” birch. 3/4 is overkill. Also I can never find 4’x8’ sheets of Baltic around here, it’s always that approx 50”x50” size, that may throw a wrench in this cut sheet.

NP. Heres some assembly shots. I used a with a pocket drill and pair of angle clamps to give it that cabinetry look...my buddy also owned a professional grade table saw.
I’d be willing to sell mine but I’m not sure how you would get them in a cost efficient way from Los Angeles area. Going to Cruisers on the Rockies?
