Damn that thing looks bad ^^^
So as most of you know I received a system from EMS to independently Dyno test and it has held up well. It did come with the Magnaflow muffler. And looks in far better condition then the picture above.
Some nits to pick / observations:
With stock springs and the cruiser loaded the rear pipe would make contact with the driveline ever so slightly. This may be a result of 160k mile rear springs sagging a bit and has not been an issue with 860's in back.
The supplied clamps are problematic in that the clamping force tends to be a bit un even and it's sometimes difficult to get a perfect seal.
The system hangers are positioned correctly for the most part with just a little deviance here and there that could be better for frame clearance at the muffler.
I ordered a rear exit tailpipe (stock location) to replace the high/under body. The sound is reduced in the cabin significantly but is still loud. The exit pipe I ordered had it's mounts slightly skewed and as a result the visible section coming out the rear is canted to curbside some. The pipe does fit through the two hitch opening, just. I will straighten the pipe out once I get the new slee bumper installed.
The system does produce a significant amount of power versus stock, in particular when you couple mid-pipes with it.
The welds on the test system were quality and materials all seem up to par.

It's seems that maybe there has been a change in suppliers for EMS and perhaps it's causing some issues. One thing for certain is that is not an excuse for not addressing your customers in a timely manner.
