Greetings, all. Curious if anyone has installed Slee Formed Step Sliders (SLEE - Formed Step Slider - '98-07 Land Cruiser / Lexus LX 470 with AHC Removed - Slee Off Road - https://sleeoffroad.com/products/sok2054/) on a 100 series Cruiser. Dropping the OEM running boards was one of the first things I did when I bought my '06 in ~2018 (not a fan of how they looked) but my wife and kids are constantly asking why it's so hard for them to get in the truck. I'm 6'4" so I've never had a problem. But would love to hear opinions on these and photos from anyone who's installed them. Photo below is from Slee's website.

They look "elegant" and perhaps not so functional....they appear to be hollow or completely from formed steel, to I'm not sure how much of a slider they really are.....if that's of concern. $1350 is a chunk of change for a "not really a slider" slider.

Mine is basically a "Mall Cruiser" at this point, so it's mostly aesthetics :)

Do you have AHC? If so, doesn't appear SLEE currently has an offering (based on website listings). Maybe give them a call.

I do theoretically have AHC but it does not work well (sometimes goes up and down by itself when stopped, does not do so when I hit the button :) ). Thanks for pointing that out. I see what I can find out.

You have AHC then. Those sliders won't work for you. You have to have removed pieces of AHC for those sliders to fit.

Did you check out White Knuckle offroad?

I found this while looking for control arm.

@mlberry35209 Slee also has regular step sliders that are AHC compatible.

Also note, the AHC adjusting at a stop light is intended behavior. It doesn't mean anything is broken. It adjusts back to neutral height while you drive and tends to rise up in the front at lights.

Wow. I did not know that. Maybe it actually works as intended.....I've always just ignored it. Thanks for the pointer!
