Hello everyone (especially @jerryb )

I was able to do a full nav delete on my 2007LC with a lot of help from Jerry. It has been amazing, but my truck has 235K and I have the opportunity to buy a 2006 with 92k. When I did the nav delete a few years ago, I recall that I ended up doing some workarounds because of a lack of parts. I will have to go back and research exactly how we did it.

I frankly can’t understand the wiring conversation you all are having, but I have to make a quick decision on the new truck, so the simple question is: Can I get the parts necessary to complete the conversion on a 2006?

I have two 2003-2007 Nav delete kits in stock now

For those looking for nav-delete parts.
I have the original HVAC controls and circuit board off of my ‘04 100 series. I have an original non-nav 100. I replaced the panel and circuit board simply because I am quite picky about my trim being as scratch free as possible. Nothing wrong with the electronics aside from the deforester button back light being burned out.

$400 if anyone is interested. Willing to ship.

I’m interested in this, ill send you a message.

This nav delete stuff gets me excited. I've always wanted to do it.

But from what I understand, I would still need to find the hard-to-find 88650-60B80 amp to get a normal functioning A/C for a 06? I could do some rewiring to get basic A/C functions to work but it wouldn't be the same as the factory amp function.

Just sent a message to Sunfic and jerryb, really need some help on this exact issue.

Yes, and everyone selling them is offering the other AC amp and tells you it will work no problem. It's the only thing that's stopped me over the years. I look into it every now and then but finding the right AC amplifier seems impossible.

I have an 03 I just bought and want to replace the tape deck with the climate controls from a non-nav vehicle. It currently has a s***ty Teyes head unit that I want to replace. I have the non-nav kit on order from dude in Pakistan. He said to get a JerryB wiring harness to get everything to work. I know Jerry isn’t making them, but maybe someone knows how to put it all together. just bought everything Jerry listed except a couple connectors I have to 3D print. I am A total novice, so hopefully I can figure this s*** out and get it working. Any advice?

you may be able to get 88650-60B80 from Carmarka/toyotadxb. That is how I got mine. Apparently they are still being manufactured by Denso, however, it is made-to-order item, so lead time is about 6 months. I was able to get a new one through them. It might be worth contacting them.

How recently did you get that board? I was told by several sources (earlier this year) that the board is NLA and discontinued. Obviously I hope I was misinformed.

@sunfic
Can you provide an update on how your system is holding up? any longer term issues w/ the ac now that you've been running like this?

Ordered it Feb 2024 and came in July 2024. I was skeptical at first as well but I got it. This is what he told me:

Hi Sir,
Item can be ordered from Japan with 60-90 working days or MORE handling time depending of Japan factory situation.
We cannot guarantee that item will arrive as per the normal time frame as factory is working on and off due to pandemic situation.
Are you willing to wait?
Note that back order/s once placed, cancellation is no longer possible. They are also non-returnable and non-refundable items.
Please confirm and proceed with the payment.

Thank you.

What do you not like about the Teyes unit? That unit i have heard the most positive out of outside of GROM unit and the absolute hated tesla style unit.

Are they making the original AC AMP board for a non nav 100? If so I would do a 6mo wait no problem.

How much did it end up costing you?

Not cheap…$580. But appears legit, haven’t done the delete yet, so I have no way of knowing if it works or not. All I have to say is to contact them and see what they say. It’s the only way I was able to get one…your mileage may vary

That's a legit part based on the board I have. I messaged carmarka about the 88650-60B80 board and they responded:

Hi Sir,
Item has no supply, it has been discontinued.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
Alex

Their site shows the item and will allow you to order it, but they will not process due to discontinued part.

Definitely keep us posted, would like to know how it works. Be sure to take pics of your wiring when you do it and document any changes you do to get it to work. If this is really a good way to get these boards it opens up a whole new opportunity to switch out the current nav system.

Carmarka responded to me and said they cannot source them.

How is your ac system running with the workaround wiring you did?

It works fine and gets super cold, every once in a while i have to just hit the AC button off to regulate the temp. Temp button works (in Celsius) but eventually will get too cold as well-so its not perfect but this is much better than the old Nav system.
