Getting an 05 470 gx inspected by my mechnanic right now...only "issue" is 166k miles....paint is a bit old - definitely not pristine - one poorly touched up paiint cbip. The interior blower seems sluggish. Basic package: RAHC, AVS, rear AHC (soon to be removed if I buy). No Nav, yeah! Basically a one owner car with solid maintenene records. Black over tan.
Thinking it'll be around $11,000 settled price.
Survey says...guys?

Sounds decent. Have you ran the VIN through Lexus owners portal? It will tell you the complete service history if the work was done at Lexus. I just bought mine last weekend. I chose it because everything was done at the dealer every 4-5k miles and the timing belt and water pump were done less than 1k miles before i bought it.

Edit: Just so you can compare. I bought mine with 94k miles its an 04 with no Nav for 15k.

Thanks for the response ! I did not do that check, the carfax listed all of the maintence that was done and it all checks out like yours...5,000 miles, timing belt, seems well maintained. Just not showroom stuff, which is fine by me.

You dont have to be an owner to use the Lexus owners portal?

Offer 9 and settle at 10

Nope. Just register and type in the VIN and everything should pop right up. I did this with over 100 GX's across the country before finding the one that I wanted.

Well, that ended poorly. A/C was DOA (seller: "I had no idea"), all the fluids were dirty, and somehow the water pump never got chngd while the timing belt had (at 170K, figure its' close to overdue). I can DIY only one of these three, so back with search mode. Thanks Merlin for the tip.

I just got mine in from Texas. Our market is high and we don't have a lot of inventory. It's in Mint condition for it's age.

Happy I could help. Obviously not everyone takes their car to the dealer for service but I found that it was certainly helpful.
