I guess you understand. Buy disposable camera, develop, wait 3-4 days, convert to disc, load into computer, use infranview to resize(thanks woody), then try to get the masses to have an interest.

Alstaz will hook me up with a digital camera as soon as I get to his work.

painted parts

I have some parts done, but am NOT happy with the amberblast media , therefore I will be redoing all parts, with a different media.

Thanks, your pics have helped me already. I am in the process of trying to put my rig together after about six years, with parts scattered to the four corners of the garage.

Now I can identify where a few of them go :D

I visited alstaz at his place of work today, and he hooked me up with a very nice digital camera.(Thanks AL). It was a pleasure meeting my first mudder, if all mudders are as gracious and cool as Al (now I sound gay:eek:), maybe this forum is worth its weight in gold.

So here is maybe the last of the ancient pics we know as a disc converted from a disposable camera..I hope these help as well cruiserhaven.

And 3 cheers to Alstaz:beer::beer::beer:

And I lied, I have a few more old school pics I must put out there

I have a shot of the tub removed along with my exhaust touching the speedo cable, interesting. Maybe not a stock muffler....:beer:

I noticed my engine is 2 shades of blue then black, wondering if that is original or someone changed it.

My guess is original, but I also want to get the colors right.

 i imagine that can't be good for the speedo cable...at least your exhaust was within the frame rails....mine is down below the skid plate (damn PO's PO!) Coming along good.

Looks like the parking brake cable to me, but in either case, not good:)

Keep up the good work.:bounce:

sound deadening

I was wondering(since I now have the digital camera) how one removes the sound deadening stuff, which incidentally is in pretty damn good shape.:beer:

I did it with big flat screwdriver and a hammer. I didn't have other Idea, it worked, no mayor destruction!

rear channel assembly

I have been swamped with work and was wondering if this could or could not be repaired.

It looks like standard rust...cut it out and weld in fresh. I belive a few places sell a weld in replacement but I could be wrong. I will be doing that this winter since I decided to keep the body mostly stock. looks like you're moving along now though

engine plucked

Sunday i finally got in some cleaning work on the 40. We pulled the engine on Fri, and Sun, my father in law and myself cleaned the motor with one of my powerwashers with extra muscle.

A very good and efficient cleaner.

I have not vanished. Just busy.
I found some pics of some during and pre-blasting of my frame etc.
These are pre digital pics.

At the moment I have a rolling chassis, all backwards, but that is another story. Re-doing happens on Sat.
