Just purchased one of these, works great, but thinking I might be able to cut time in 1/2 with more cutting surface...

(The 8 tooth model doesn't even slow down the FS250) Want to see junk fly, in a hurry.:D

I've no opinion on the tool, but would suggest getting a mesh face shield. I sometimes have to use a brush cutter when grubbing out tight areas, and have found the mesh face shield to be nice (unless you like sharp stuff flying at your face at high speeds.)

Use the same combo when using a chainsaw over head....
Safety glasses and an oversized bandana, filters the dust as well.;)

Unless you are cutting mature Bamboo or thick clusters of Cattails, the Brush Knife (3 blade) wil not slow down the FS 250 either.

If you want to try one, I can send you one. I'm sure I have one that has the label on backwards or missing the package or something.

I will look and see if I have a Brush Defender as well. It is the hearing protection and the face shield. It is way cooler than the helmet system.

Ha, sounds kinda sketchy, even for me. I'd probably whack a demo blade on the cutquick if I had to do that.

Ha, you're killing me here. The North half face 7700 respirator is only like $25 and works a treat for keeping stuff out of your lungs.
