Hey everyone,
Im in school and I don't drive my car very often for this issue to really bother me, but as summer approaches I need to start figuring out this issue . My 01 has the stock ML system and everything works totally fine, except the volume button. All lights come on, buttons operate as they should, and i can toggle through the audio input settings, i just cant change the volume and its stuck on 0 volume, so no sound. I have read i need to buy a new stereo head unit, but have also read i need to replace the amp. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, if there is an existing thread I did not see when i searched, feel free to link it.

Edit: if it helps, i have had my car for a few months. It worked for about a week but the static was consistent on the radio stations before it stopped working entirely.
