Hi All,

I'm starting in on the timing belt/cooling system on my '00. The local shop estimated $1500 for a makeover. The belt was replaced over 100K miles ago.

This timing belt kit has good reviews and seems to have most of what I need:

I want to replace the cooling hoses to avoid and "blowouts" during a long trip. Is there a kit available for all of the hoses? Should I replace the radiator (I haven't inspected it, but i'm not sure of the lifetime on them)?

Are there any parts not included in the kit or other items I should replace while i'm in there?

Thanks in advance!

Get the belt kit from @cruiseroutfit , check the FAQ for the threads that discuss the TB job for the optional parts. Do the rear heater hoses/T's.

You won't know until you get in there...whether or not your cam seals are leaking (sometimes front crank seal as well). Some kits include those parts.

I made a spreadsheet for my 2000 that pretty much includes everything but if you buy it all you’re at about $1,400. Fan clutch, fan bracket, cam seals, radiator, hoses, etc. pm me if you want it.
