My front crankshaft seal wasn't worthy.
Everything got an oily shower, including the new timing belt. It's practically brand new, less than 3000 miles.

Is the belt still usable or should I chuck it?

p.s. The crank seal was not factory.

Belts are not designed for oil baths. I’d replace it for peace of mind.

Since its new that means that it has 90,000 miles until it gets replaced again. I would not feel comfortable driving it that long. Oil breaks down rubber, I would replace it sooner rather than later.
But then again my LS400 had its timing belt soaking in oil due to leaking cam shaft seal that was discovered when it was time to replace the timing belt. Who knows for how long it was leaking, belt actually seemed fine.

Yes 💯

You're right, absolutely worth the peace of mind.
Thanks for your input.
