Just wanted some advice on the replacement of my timing belt for 2000 LC. I have 105,000 at this point. Also, is it prudent to replace the water pump or is that just overkill?

Yes, automatically buy a new waterpump, timing belt, and both idler pulleys in advance. The old parts may look good when they come off but no telling how many miles are left in them. I just did mine a few weeks ago at 100k and the waterpump had been weeping without any outward signs. The idlers had some slop, new ones got rid of a slight knock at cold-start.

While i was in there, I put a new thermostat as well, good insurance.
