YesWhere was this purchased? Amazon?
This is the link I bought pal:
Thanks the water pump does seem a bit flimsy like aluminium quite light but it has the Aisin metal stamp and sticker - still researching to ensure it’s legitThere's a few sellers offering the TKT-021 on Amazon, the one I used was sold by The AISIN Store, had 1500 reviews and pretty good scores, the rest were full of Not Legit reviews. Since you're buying from Amazon uk, it might not be the same seller, but your pics look the same as the one I got, no issues, good machining, jap bearings and mitsu belt. no issues with mine since installed.. Great threads and videos available here and on YT. Good luck w the install
You’re happy so far then and convinced it’s legit?Looks exactly like what I bought from Amazon and installed a few months ago.
I know folks have already made their purchases - but in generally, I really don't recommend buying these from somewhere like Amazon where you can never be 100% sure it's a legit OE part. There are lots of other places to buy them where you can be confident the supply chain is legit. It's not worth the risk to your motor, and having to re-do the work. Or having to post pictures here asking folks to opine on if the part is counterfit or not.
A quick google search for the Aisin TKT-021 shows that:
Rock Auto has the kit right now for $184 USD.
So does Summit Racing.
Cruiser Brothers has it for $220
You can even get it at your local NAPA, but it's $304
Why am I so adamant about this? Cuz I got burned with a fake kit (from eBay) for my Subaru EJ25. The belt lasted 10K before it broke. I had to replace all 16 valves and it cost me days of labor and around $1000 in parts, plus a $250 tow home. All so I could easily order the part online and save maybe $100 over legit sources. Amazingly, that motor is still running 4 years later. Hopefully others can learn from my mistakes.
