What skill set demans the posting of poorly named and meandering threads? Locked or not locked.

Yes and I have supplied much BS but I had hoped this thread would serve the future.

This thread has gone off the tracks enough. No more BS.

I believe myself a man of poetic words and broken parts living north of most here, what did you say?

Obviously I will be in camp roasting dinner of my choice while you are stuck and drawing pictures.

Having had auto lockers and ARB’s, I completely understand why the selectable locker came about and has been wildly popular. A locker is a locker and a device that will allow differential wheel speed while power is applied is not a locker. All the talk about how this unit or that will allow...

ARB says the bonded seal, the one that seals the piston on the inside of the carrier, the one you fear most, can last 20,000 cycles. Recently I stripped teeth from my front ring and pinion. Since I’ll be doing the repairs myself; and the locker is nearly 13 years old, I’ll also be...

Your post reads as if you are skeptical of the ARB’s. I’ve experienced air leaks three times. Twice was due to botched installation work done by a shop and the other was due to there being no O-rings on the ends of the ARB compressor tank. The tank leak didn’t manifest until the...

ARB’s, as you read on the first page here, are reliable, strong, and time tested. They’ve been around since the 1980’s. I have 14 years with two different vehicles worth of ARB experience and have nothing but positive remarks. I’ve ran auto lockers in the past, it’s a relic and I...

I’ve never had a problem with ice blocked air tubes after camping overnight in temps down into the teens. Most probably, any moister that may be in the air tubes is forced out into the atmosphere through the blow off valves when the lockers are disengaged.

The OP runs his rig hard since he got it in 2014. The op is well aware of the fact that the front diff is more vulnerable in reverse. The OP is willing to pay in order to play. This thread is a discussion about selectable lockers, specifically the ARB, the Harrop, and the TJM not my ring...

This thread is not a debate that includes auto lockers. Get off my lawn.

The issue I had before you got there was a broken spring in a brand new Aisin hub. Not much of a problem.
