    FJ40 softer ride. Cut the shortest leaf ?

    Folks, I'm trying to make my FJ40 ride much softer on the streets. I've heard that if I cut the shortest leaf spring just past the U bolts on both sides , it will make the FJ40 ride much softer. Has anyone done this ? anyone have any experience with this ? Any feedback will help.
