    Awesome budget winch comparison

I didn't see this posted or see a mention in the search. This guy's channel has a lot of other tests too you all might find interesting. Nice to see a $370 winch that can actually perform fairly well in these tests!

I might have just bought a little bit of mud history

So ~2012 my friend and I bought 2 Toyota diesel conversions/clones from Marv Specter. My friend bought a green 93 HDJ80 5 speed clone. Due to kommiefornianism and Cali's air Nazis, my friend could no longer register his 80 anymore, so like a good buddy I relieved him of it since I live in...

Does anyone have a good working hood catch they'd part with that would work on my '72? The spring broke on mine and basically doesn't work. Just north of post falls Idaho.

    Wanted  FJ55 turn signal contact

Hey folks, do any of you happen to have one of these lying around in not so trashed shape? It's the culprit for my turn signals not working. It screws onto the turn signal switch and that little wheel that's been ground almost in half rides on a brass ring to make contact while the wheel turns...

If the 60 series didnt exist

Either a fullsize bronco with a 7.3 power stroke conversion, or an hdj80. Either one would be cool as hell!

Anybody used the POR-15 fuel tank repair kit?

I used it on a couple of old jerry cans. The stuff works great! It didn't clog the pressure equalizing tube that runs on the inside top of the can to give a faster pour, and it's less than 1/4 inch wide, so your line shouldn't be too bad off. Take it to a rad shop or engine machine shop...

fj62 dome light circuit parasitic draw

Check the little mehcanical sensor/switch on the door frame that turns on the light when you open a door. If the switch went bad it might be creating an open circuit, as if the door were open all the time.
