Hello fellow LC drivers! Where do y'all wheel at? I'm looking at the Dayton/Columbus region in particular for housing but want to know what is within a few hours drive for some solid green-blue-black trails? Thank you in advance for your replies!

How Many Teeth on a 60-Series Sector shaft?

The shaft in my '88 hj61 steering gear box has 4 teeth. I'm being told by the rebuild shop that the replacement shaft with the same PN 44111-60040 has 3 teeth. Anyone ever heard of this? The same part number but different number of teeth on the shaft? How many teeth on a 61/62 sector shaft?

Who amongst us has a WTO Redneck Ram installed?

I need to have the gear box rebuilt, it's leaking badly now. I was considering the 80 box with a 105 sector shaft but then realized I need to get a RHD box and that is not going to be affordable...at all, lol. Now, I am thinking about having my stock 61 box rebuilt by WTO, ported, and use their...

24v hj61 power windows curious situation

none of the windows work. If the driver window motor is dead, will it stop all of the windows from working? We were able to run power to the rear window motors and they work when jumped, but the driver door does not.

What’s the best way to clean mud from the hood insulation/pad?

I didn’t find anything in search. Mine got muddy AF. Can I spray it down with simple green and pressure wash it clean? It seems a brush will be too harsh to use. Then let it dry out then reinstall? New ones are $350ish. Of course I will remove it from the hood. 🤓

GETTING TRAIL GEAR 30 SPLINE BIRF AND SHAFT TO "GO ALL THE WAY"?

I tried the 60 forum but the only advice (CruiserMatt from Florida, who seems to know his stuff) I got was to hit it with a hammer, so I thought I'd bounce that off of y'all first. I read one post where a guy said he used a grinder to make the birfield fit but I don't have any other info. Any of...

TRAIL GEAR 30-spline BIRFIELD/SHAFT LONG SIDE WILL NOT SEAT IN THE DIFF/HUB!?!

Anyone have a similar experience? I just had the ring/pinion rebuilt and I'm able to get the stock shaft/birfield into the diff but this new Trail Gear Long field 30 spline will not set; I get it most of the way in, but it just won't pass into the hub; that last "push" when it goes in and meshes...

Birfield stuck on axle shaft ?!?w/solution :-)

Finally got an opportunity to install the other Longfield birfield with the front end apart. I beat on that SOB for several hours with my rubber mallet to no avail. It was stuck like chuck. I saw a few videos of using a section of 2” pipe or square pipe with the birf and axle inserted then you...

Front Drive Shaft Slip Yoke Grease Retaining Cap(?)

where I have the yellow circle positioned at the end of the slip yoke, I suspect that there is supposed to be a cap that keeps the grease inside the end of the cylinder...mine doesn't have one and sadly it appears they are NLA. Any spares floating around out there or ideas? could a 3-d printed...

PS pump idle pulley adjustment bolt part number?

for the love of God if you know this part number please pass it on. I've searched and searched all over amayama and partsouq but cannot find the part number for that damn bolt. I did order 88446-35010, which is the bolt for 88440-35010 (idle pulley for the top side/ac) and am wondering if they...

    PTO CASE and lever REMOVAL

I still have the PTO case attached to the transfer case and it's lever is still located in the cabin...I'd like to remove it. I ordered the block-off plate and gasket, but my question is: what does it take to remove the PTO case and gear from the transfer case? Is it difficult? Is it kind of...

    12HT GLOW SCREEN TIMER

Not sure if your truck is like mine, but the glow screen light has never worked. For those that have operable units, how many seconds does it typically take before your light comes on and you are able to turn the engine over? Please note the estimated outside temperature also, i.e., was it...

Hello CLCC members! Winter is almost over and I see that the NY crew is posting event info for their CMCC (July 13 – 16, 2022). Can we create a thread (done!) that monitors these developments? 12h-t won’t turn off

Turn key off, truck still runs. Manually force the plunger thing on IP then it stops, but dash lights stay on even with key removed. Disconnected the negative battery terminal, all power off. I searched, no luck. What should I be testing? Thanks for your insight in advance! 🤓

    Pro-Comp Shocks ES9000

Am I the only one that runs these on my 60 series? They seem to work just fine on my trucks; been running them since 2010. Just curious, I always see Fox and other brands discussed. It's a 60, how awesome is the ride supposed to be, lol?
