@Landseer, were you able to replace the lines running along the driver's side frame rail without dropping the gas tank or removing anything else? Which lines did you choose to make yourself and why?
THanks
Some of the hard brake lines on my '95 aren't looking so great. There is some corrosion on specific spots and I am trying to figure out if it is better to replace the entire line with OEM lines or cut, flare, and add a new section the the current lines.
The lines I am looking at are:

I called my local dealer and they have the nuts, studs in stock. I had a set of gaskets so I have that part covered.
The only thing I need now is a flange to mate up to the outlet of the Magnaflow cat. I don't plan to run a second cat, just the one with the y pipe. I found another thread...
I know this part and topic has been beat to death but I have some specific questions that I didn't find after searching. I apologize if I missed the answers in previous threads.
I am getting ready to replace my y pipe with the Magnaflow 23120...hopefully I get the Magnaflow and not the Bosal...
Thanks for all the replies and all of the help. Yesterday I managed to sneak away and unbox some tools from my move including the manifold set. Taking the pressures was easy....0 psi across the board. I ripped out the compressor and the evaporator since they are the only 2 components left in...
So it sounds like I have a fried clutch and leaky compressor. Thanks guys, not really what I wanted to hear but I will confirm once I can get to my tools and manifold set to check pressure.
I will provide an update.
I know this is simple but I am sleep deprived and stressed from a complicated move and house purchase/sale situation, and don't have any manuals on hand to reference.
Jumping the compressor is a simple as feeding it 12V from the battery? That is what I did and got nothing.
Hi guys, I have a 1995 cruiser that I recently (bit over a year ago) replaced all o-rings, condenser, drier after I found a leak at the condenser connection and the condenser.
This summer the system was working perfectly. The truck sat for 3 weeks while I was on vacation and when I came back...
I replaced all of my radiator hoses and noticed that one hose on top of the intake was in pretty bad shape.
Can you guys tell me if this is hose is for coolant, vacuum, EFI, unicorn blood?
See red arrow in pic.
Thanks
Like the tittle says, my horn goes off when ever I pull on the top of the steering wheel. Just started doing it one day out of the blue.
I would think it's the clock spring in the steering column but that is relatively new. I changed it out about 4 years ago trying (unsuccessfully) to get rid...
Hi, I am looking for the exhaust manifolds for an FZJ80 95-97 in good condition. I know these will have surface rust but I am looking for ones without any stripped threads and without cracks.
Need it shipped to 20874, paypal ready to go.
Thanks
Came in to search for this also. Just started happening to my truck and had to disconnect the horn. It has something to do with the steering wheel, if I pull on the wheel at 12 oclock the horn activates. Anyone know what the issue is? I am guess a bad connector ring which if I remember...
I am getting a pulsating brake pedal when braking and took a look at my front rotors and pads and found strange pad/rotor wear.
Pads/rotors had the wear you see in the pics on the inside surface only (side of rotors the face the center of the truck). Outside rotors and pads look fine.
You can...
