def interested in this! I have an FJ62 and what i noticed from wits end version is that the FJ62 is not an exact fit for an FJ60. there's an indentation at the right hand side that simply must be there.... I've got a good spare glovebox that i don't need anymore; i've got no problems sending it...

cooling fan - as was said elsewhere - is for the fan in the engine compartment that turns on once in a great while. it's a hold over from when they used the carburated engine. supposedly it still has its use. some folks remove it all, some folks don't.

re your #1 - that's probably for the antenna; mine came with a non-function antenna motor that otherwise would have raised or lowered it. I took mine off.
re the LEDs in the A/C and rocker switches - these are pains in the asses, esp. the A/C one - you really have to pull that unit out a lot to...
longshots - check the o2 sensors and the state of the muffler; i had weird issues with rpms and the like due to a clogged muffler. bad o2 sensors also led to intermittent stumbling. and check out the ecu if you haven't yet. years ago i pulled mine out and discovered slight water damage to it...

At first this happened whilst accelerating (either from a complete stop OR an an engine restart). Eventually that behavior went away - and transitioned to happening every other time I restart the engine immediately...
