Installing front door cards, simple. WTH - is there a trick to the rear door cards? (1 Viewer)

As stated in the title...feel like i should be in a special needs class. Concerned Im doing to damage the window seal trying to slide it back in. Was starting it at an angle where the black fixed trim piece is. Is there some simple trick I'm not aware of?

it takes some trial and error to get that part (around the fixed window panel) to align JUST RIGHT.
