Haha, thanks fellas. The site is back up. They said the power supply went out on the server. This is the first downtime I've seen in over four years. If you guys crashed it, THAT ROCKS! :D
Anyway, it's back up.
Thanks everybody for the positive feedback. I don't remember if I had to lower the windshield to remove the original dash or not as I did that a while back. As far as the installation of the box itself I didn't need to lower the dash. If anybody knows, help remind me.
I just finished installing my dash box from THE DASHMAN and put together an installation and short writeup of the process. Hope you enjoy it. Lot's of pictures so you know what your are up against and what the final results look like.
DASHMAN DASHBOX REVIEW/INSTALL
I'm looking at these rims to go with some 35 x 12.5 x 15 KM2's. What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Well the majority won this one out. My pinion nut was indeed loose. Tightened her up and the clunk is gone!. So, if you have a clunk that happens a split second after you let the clutch out, and is softer in the upper gears, and you can feel in the shifter, you probably have a loose pinion...
There shouldn't be any problem going all the way up to the inner fender. If yuu don't have enough metal to make it straight you could always weld in some sheet metal and start from there.
I'm about a half inch from the top of the inner fender. All I did to finish the lips was hit them with a flapper sander disc. I used a jigsaw to do the cutting. Was really fast and left a decent edge to begin with.
Thanks for the compliments!
I cut my fenders a while back after reading Rezarfs thread. I kept the stock lines. I took the top of the fenders about as high as they would go. I took some extra of the back side to allow my 35's to swing back when articulating.
Just thought i'd post a few pics to show you how the look is.
Assuming it's the pinion nut, what is involved in fixing the problem? Just tighten the bugger up or something else? It this something where stuff needs replacing?
Here's the details. I have a rebuilt tranny, tcase, made sure all the mounting to engine and drivetrain are tight.
When I first let the clutch out about a half second later when I apply power I feel a slight clunk that I can feel in the shifter. It's not immediate and I can feel it in all...
