Edited the original post, heres a couple of additional pictures. In the woods was last weekend at XRock competition - Put Up or Shut Up - assisting on recovery duty.
I’ve owned this cruiser for about 20 years, and a change in life status has me putting it up for sale. A few details:
- When first purchased the truck was completely stripped, and gone through both mechanically and body. Minor rust was repaired, frame treated, and all body seams sealed...
Son is returning stateside after 3 years in Guam (Navy) and is looking at this cruiser for a family car.
It’s located at Best Car N Care on Neptune Ave.

Does anyone know this vehicle or dealer? Appreciate any insight.

I happen to have a nearly completely repaired (not restored) top (need to spray the white), a set of old style doors (original/fairly rough), and back half doors (good/vgood original). They've all been there for years, while my rig has evolved into a straight up wheeling rig.
I haven't posted...
I'm a long time member and wheeler, but life is changing, and I have a question about market value for my '76 FJ-40 wheeling rig, so this is a feeler. It comes with all of the typical scratches and dings that a used wheeler gets - runs great and will most likely be at GSMTR and CoalMine this...
For sale: Expedition One Gift Certificate: "50% off any full size bumper, excludes JKDX, customer responsible for shipping"
Certificate not needed, so I'm selling for $500 or best reasonable offer. Please PM me.

A couple of us local Freds types will be there, and it sounds like IPOR will be opening the rock garden and a bunch of other stuff. Looks like a good time!
I'm looking for some 40 ambi doors - good condition on the upper portion, lower condition doesn't matter so much. Also looking for doors...
Thanks, it took two trips to the sandbox to build it. And yes, that pic was taken at Katemcy this year. We may have run across Bill Stayner, but I don't recall.
I've only wheeled the truck once with the PB's and RL's (Texas), but from what I've seen so far, they seem to perform better than...
I'm running about the same lift/gearing setup that you are on my 40, and I went with the putbulls and raceline beadlocks. My truck is trailered to events, and it is run fairly hard on the trails - but I do drive it around town, and it has decent road manners.
Vince and Cam are wise...
