I’ve been slowly losing coolant and today took a peek under. Saw a small drip on the transmission. I’m assuming this is the infamous coolant valley leak. Argh! 😖

I don’t have the time, patience, nor talent to do this. I’d assume this is an expensive job.

@hoch Looks indicative of the infamous heat exchanger leak. I would expect to pay between $1300-$2500 if you have it done. It isn't a huge amount of work to do it...but it isn't fun either. There is potential to break other stuff while doing the job. Parts aren't too much, but there are several hours of labor.

Thanks. Argh. I may just keep adding coolant until it warms up and try to tackle it then.

I’m unsure if this is the cause, but the previous owner had work done at a local Grease monkey and for whatever reason, the coolant was flushed and filed with generic green coolant. So I flushed and refilled with Toyota pink. Then I noticed tge leak. 😩

I’ll wait till summer. Hopefully won’t break injectors or other expensive parts 😅
