I have an 85 mini truck based buggy. Who makes the easiest and most complete rear disc brake conversion for that 1985 rear axle? I've been an FJ40 guy for years but have this to wheel now and want to do the swap. I'm assuming I'll need to run a different Master Cylinder as well? Which one?

The swap for minis is pretty much identical to the 40 conversion.
That being said, I personally think the 79-85 rear brakes are great. Never have issues.

Yeah but I want to carry an extra axle or two w/o having to worry about brake build up and all of that. Disc would be much easier.

I used this setup many years ago:

79-95 Toyota Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit

You just get some loaded Chevy Monte Carlo calipers, bolt it all on, and go. Worked very well. I also went with a 1" bore master and a booster from a V6 truck. No residual valve required. But no e-brake either. I went with the All-Pro t-case setup.
