There's a bunch of info in a bunch of threads by a bunch of people about the same thing so we're gonna use this one thread to say it all. Please use this thread to address the November Charlotte meeting at Cars & Coffee 11/2/13.

Saturday 11/2/13
ONSC Charlotte members and friends
Cars & Coffee at NC Music Factory parking lot
915 Hamilton St
Charlotte, NC 28206
7:30am - 11:00am
Lunch afterward at VBGB's or The Saloon

We are not involved in the Cars & Coffee event, we're just attendees like everyone else. We usually park in the main lot (Mattie's Diner side) off to the left. Look for the other LC's - Al is usually the first one there so look for the gold FJ80 on 39's standing tall above all others and park there.

We welcome anybody who wants to come see some Land Cruisers of various models and years whether we know you or not. And please join us for lunch afterward.

Call or text me if you have any questions or can't find us on Saturday. 7oh49 five3oh2 one 7.

BTW - I'm notoriously late but I plan to be there around 10:00am because I'm not a morning person. Green 40 with black top.

Wow is it official now :flipoff2:

I'll be.there at 730 and leave to come home at 1100

I washed the 40 today. Arthritis sucks so I did my usual 1/2-ass job, but the chunks are off as is most of the sap. Time to pull out the cover again. Almost makes me not want to take it on the Vet Day run. Almost...I didn't do THAT good of a job.

Planning on showing up around 8 -8:30

Got there a little later than normal at 8:30 but still managed to see everyone except Jim. Saw your truck but never found you.

Had a great time yesterday at cars and coffee and lunch! Got to meet everybody and see some really cool cars and of course the cruisers were my favorite. Thanks to everyone for having us and especially for letting me and my dad ride in your 40's. I definitely learned a lot and I know my dad did too. I can't tell y'all enough how cool it was to get to see the cruisers and ride in them. Al, you should've told me and I would've posed for a better pic haha. Thanks again and I can't wait to get out and do something again like that (and hopefully we might be in a 40 too!).

Too funny.... you walked right past me, at a distance of about 5 feet. You had just talked to Eric as he pulled in and turned around to walk down the isle. I stopped to greet you but you walked right past like a man on a mission.

No worries, I was just planning on giving you a hard time about fleeing to the left coast.

P.S. A little quiz for the crowd. This was on the dash of a '57 Chevy. What is it?

It is for seeing traffic lights. My first car was a 57 Belair

When you pull up to a light and are first in line the seating position makes it impossible to see an overhead light as the roof blocks the angle. The unit is a prism of sorts and allows you to see the light above.

Stan hit it on the head. Had one on a 57 fairlane I used to race

I was going to say it was some sort of super-early Heads Up Display, lol. I guess it is in a way, but not what I originally thought!
