I rebuilt a 1979 Toyota FJ40 power steering box today for a friend. It was an exercise in persistence, patience, and attention to detail. It is as good as new... at least I hope it is!! :rofl:

I just turn the A-Trac or E-locker or both on some spots I find it hard to maneuver. My last resort is to turn the Crawl Control on.

I am 69 and still working half-time, sometimes more. I love what I do, I do 90% of it from home on my own schedule, and it pays well. No plans to stop any time soon.

Mirrors worked great for what they are. A little vibration at idle but no more than the windshield mounted rear view. Met some new locals too!
