hey thanks everybody... sounds like i will be looking for the 1FZ-FE. But if I stumble on the right 80, no rust, under 150k, right price...ect., ect. and it happens to be the earlier model with the 3FE... then all bets are off...lol

lol... i have heard that fj40's didnt even completely seal water when they were new. I sure know that mine doesnt. Its what makes a fj40 an fj40

hey thanks tlccruiser66 for posting those pics... and as a matter of fact his does have a heater... it works pretty darn well too...lol that 350 puts out some heat. The guy that had it before my dad did a very clean swap.

My dads doesnt get used in extreme offroad conditions... thats what mine is for... lol. It doesnt stay on the pavement... but it doesnt play well with the rocks. So i guess mine is more apt to get stuck... lol.

i knew u would make it on here eventually dad... all it took was for me to put up a couple pics... lol
