just that keeping the t case, exhaust, frame, driveshafts, etc. higher is probably a good thing, so a couple of hockey pucks isn't going to replace what a real lift, (or even some shackles), will do, in terms of off road potential. IMHO
not sure, let the experts discuss, but isn't carbon buildup another possibility, causing pre and post ignition by the superheated carbon buildup on the piston tops
I run 31's with a mild shackle lift to correct saggy springs, I would think that with a 4" lift, it would look like ass, I would say that with a 4" lift 35's would be about right.
just go with a couple of decent regular batteries, if you can't afford optimas, deep cycle is more for slow discharge, and really high CCA batteries supposedly have problems with durability, the more dense, closer plates have more potential for fuggin up, bridging/shorting/just not working out...
better to get the whole works up in the air, body lift is okay to go up a bit to get clearance for big tires, but suspension lift will get you better off road performance, given the higher center point.
edit: didn't read the fine print
sounds like a fine time to do the rear discs, but the spector kit would keep it a little easier, it looks looks like...
the tub looks fine, the cowl is a bit different, one less louver cut on the side, IIRC
