You can do this if I am thinking about what you are saying correctly. Even though I am using a standard GM sender, which is part of the preprogrammed settings, I manually setup my sender ohms to the amount of gallons that I put in but that didn’t...
This is a cool find. I marked where I think road 299 is. Does this look right? The jamboree itinerary doesn’t mention that the road leads to a reservoir.

A few years back my friend and I went to South Pass, Wyoming for some camping. We ran the "Christina Lake Trail". it was fun, a bit technical and very scenic. I wouldn't run it this time of year. most likely between mid June to late August is...
The first two trails that I posted above are in the Buckhorn Mountains. I didn’t see Boulder Basin. Thanks for sharing!

Rob might be right. The first trail reports from this...
I got all of my DOM from Tube Service and my solid aluminum links from Wide Open Design. The off-road shops are a bit more expensive but they may ship to you.
Haha! No doubt. I mentioned that to DD and they seemed to think that terrible mileage shouldn’t affect the calculations. I thought that I was doing pretty good considering that I am nearly 6k pounds. Ha. It used to get 4-6 mpg with the SBC.
I’ve been working with Dakota Digital for about 6 months on my range display and we haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it. I have asked about a dozen people who have a DD gauge and none of them have enabled the range to display on their...
Thanks. I’ll check that out. I think that will work out well for my lower bar. I might have a rubber body mount that I can try for the top mount. I might experiment with this over the weekend.

I get links to plastic surgery facilities when I search with the words “UMMH plastic”.
Perhaps let’s move this convo over to my thread. It’s pretty quiet over there and I am sure that Blackknight has enough to think about with his build.
If I understand what you’re saying- I used a 2”x2” piece of UMMH(**) plastic as a rest for my swing out. It’s held up the last 7-8 years. I use a very similar latch and it hold both the swingouts closed.
**If I got the abbreviation wrong, it’s...
Thanks to @matzell and the “Lynchburg Lemonade” for the inspiration and part numbers for the lift gate cables. Made some mounts and got everything mounted up. Thanks again Rob.
The farmer in me says to use what is already on the shelf, and as I scan those shelves I see a lever leftover from the bumper hardware kit like what you have on your bumper. I think that this will allow for enough movement and adjustability...
I used the following to just paint the exterior and dash. I painted the rest of the inside and underneath with different products:
1/2 gallon of primer. 2 coats
1.5 gallons of paint. 4-5 coats
1.5 gallons of clear. 4-5 coats
