And if you put an ignition lead onto a spare spark plug and ground it to the head, you get a nice healthy blue spark while cranking?

Won’t fire up and run. It turns over, all fuses good. Has 12.8v+ at the + coil terminal with ignition on.

Stupid is that stupid does 😂. A DUI doesn’t have a coil-to-dizzy wire 🙄. So no comparison there. But I measured the #3 and #6 spark plug wires, and they were ~3k and ~6k ohms, respectively, which is good relative-wise since #6 is ~2x in length...
