i did the j weld a few years ago and i got me through a summer out here in seattle without trouble.

i am fortunate to have not gone through this but i do have a comment: more often than not there will be leakage after a window replacement. it doesn't matter how much money you spend, you should just assume this will happen. west coast auto glass, located here in seattle, warranties their work...

i had the same problem a few months back. i mucked around with the latch to no avail and was about to order a new one when someone suggested adjusting the hood bumpers. five second fix :)
