ok. so i upgraded the batt-starter wire to no.2. i also found the white no.8 wire from alt to battery was reduced in size at the batt link. i upgraded that 4" piece of wire to no.8(same as white alt wire). drove around for an hr with a/c on in stop & go traffic and then went into the hill...

an 89 fj62. when it gets warm out and temps under the hood go up. the starter will do nothing. i have no cooling issues. new radiator and cooling fine. i have fuel also. i can jumpstart the truck and it turns over every time. and i have a one yr old starter , alternator and battery. been looking...

I wish i knew which sensor. I just replaced them all from toyota. EXPENSIVE.And you will wait a while for atleast 1 of them.

Is it possilble to transplant the toyota 4.7 L v8 into an fj62? with the thought of a v8 transplant,why not stay toyota?
