No, tire should be immobile when it's fully winched up. You probably need to crank it a little more. I usually spray silicone lube all in and around the winch and chain every time I use it to keep it moving smoothly.
Let’s get this party started…
I’m starting this thread to discuss the options, share some installation tips and see how to get this out to you guys that have been asking for it.
I installed a body lift on my 80 series, my 100 series and also...
I think I solved this but figured I’d post here in case someone else has had this issue…or someone else has it at some point.
My 2011 lx570 seemed to lose its ability to turn on the low beam driver side headlight.
Even with a new bulb it still...
Since you started "200 series" and not just LC, I'm putting in a suggestion for LX owners.
YotaForge3D on Etsy makes a great custom Phone Mount Solution. It fits right into the stock console hardware. Really nice product.
To clarify, the moment one fits a larger overall diameter tire, is when the stock offset is no longer correct and optimal. It can be said that a spacer can correct for proper scrub radius in this situation.
For a roughly 33" tire, the proper...
I'm selling 5 wheels and tires from my 2013 LC200. Will also include lugnuts and TPMS. 2 tires ( Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2) have less than 1k miles on them. The other two tires (
MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S) have about 10k on them. Also including...
I should also add, my phone was in the mount when I hit an abandoned vehicle going 80 mph on I-85. I had to go back into my LX to retrieve it. The back glass shattered, but otherwise works fine. And I'm still using it today ~1 year later...
I wouldn't sweat hubcentric vs "lugcentric". If you properly tighten the lug nuts there are no balance issues*. And so long as the hub bore is at least ~114mm you can get a set of adapter rings made if you really care. My Icon Six Speed wheels...
If it’s louder, it would require a decibel meter to even notice. I’m not into noisy exhaust…meaning it would bug me if it was loud.
—So… Zero noise concerns lopping it off. Just be sure to do a simple pipe in its place sufficiently route the...
Same! I bought a set for the 200 and really only found them useful for the driver. As it turns out, the taper on the 100 is the opposite so I was able to use the passenger armrest on the driver side of the 100 for a nearly factory fit.
I have the armrests too, and I really like the one on the driver's side. On the passenger side, it felt odd, so I pulled off the one on that side. Same experience as everyone else though--holding up great.
Only about 9 months on mine but they are one of the favorite things I've added and no issues with the adhesive so far. Just make sure you clean/degrease the door panel good before applying. My truck is parked outside in the Las Vegas desert sun...
I put the drivers side armrest on my 2013 LC in early Feb. and it's holding up well at the two month mark. Mounts with double sided 3M tape that is included and it is still very secure (just make sure you clean the surface really well before you...
So, I installed these in the LX. I only installed the drivers side (Aussie so RHD). I installed the left side armrest onto the right door as to me it fitted better, and did some very minor trimming.
To me, biased, it is awesome and could be a...
They were clearly designed for the LC, but if you do not care for a perfect-fit-look they seem functional enough. Personally, I would not do it in an LX but it's just me. I have them in my LC and could not bear the thought of not installing in...
