    Ahhh. Now that makes sense.

Then you just have to continue turning the DS until you have the same physical height on both sides. The AHC will not do anything for a L/R lean. The AHC will adjust the front height until the average between the 2 sensors are zero. After that...

I have turned T bars several turns ever so often to help keep pressures correct. I just turned them again several times with about 3-4 threads left on each side. Both sensors are the same in low on the sliding bracket. The pressures were 6.7...

Not sure how to do that. However, I have noticed the front DS stays about .5-.75" lower than PS, even when I set the height sensor a little higher than PS trying to compensate. As mentioned, when going straight over speed bumps, ons side at a...

I have not sensed any difference cornering, I think only because I haven't thought about that or maybe don't go fast enough to tell. But now I will certainly be looking for any differences when cornering. What I have noticed is when going over...

Mud update, as promised.....it appears the front DS Amazonian globe is not retaining pressure as it should. I can tell the NW corner of LX is lacking a bit in suspension damping. I will continue on until.....

One with DRL dimming resistor and one without. One is the '06 LX with factory resistor and one I just disconnected resistor to hopefully create the brighter DRLs. Although the picture angle isn't perfect, I believe I can tell that the three...

9.5 year revival here but.......In an attempt to disconnect the DRL dimming resistor on my '01 and '04 Lexii, I unplugged the resistor harness from resistor and relay. This harness was added due to recall. I then plugged the old connector back...

Amazing find. The number of people who keep a vehicle for 23 years and 479k miles is almost nil. And with maintenance records too. You’re lucky you found it before I did ;)

Yes, $3000 is good if rust doesn't change that. I wouldn't take $15k for my 2000 with 478k miles. Although my favorite Land Cruiser with largest cool factor is a stock 80 series, the 100 series is a much more refined and better daily driver...

2004 Toyota Land Cruiser, 400,000 miles Won't start, open hood, close hood, starts. Losing power when accelerating, power then comes back. Losing power when driving on the expressway, cruise or no cruise. Cruise set at 75, 70, 65, 45 doesn't...

You did get YotaMd fobs from @suprarx7nut correct?
  • BullElk
It is not difficult but I think one needs to get a couple under their belt before describing as easy. There can be frustrating events like rusty or corroded globe connections making retrieval difficult or not keeping enough fluid in reservoir...

^^^^ Agree....If unexperienced in the globe replacement process, I would suggest replacing all or having all replaced at same time.
  • BullElk
The ultimate test of 'ride quality' is the 'backside test' -- how it feels personally. If happy, then delay 'globe' replacement until unhappy -- but damping is unlikely to be as good as it can be. As @BullElk highlights, the HI/LO graduation...

Unless mistaken, this is how I confirm which globes are bad. If you take off globe and can pour fluid from globe....toast.

A great start @beanTime -- and this has established that the basic functions of the AHC and TEMS systems are capable of working. Continued maintenance is well worth the trouble. Black foamy fluid is exactly what should be expected where there...

Most ot the time when you take what is called "preventative" action in LC/LXs, you just think you are preventing problems, like protecting your tranny from exploding by making sure you change the fluid every 30k miles. But you just think you...
