I am wanting to switch out my F engine for a Chwvy v8. Will sell outright or will consider trade. Im in DFW area. No idea on price, open to suggestions, thx. The engine runs as my daily druver, just want more power. If I were going to keep it I would rebuild to install new gaskets and rear seal...

Okay cool. Kit came with that plenum gasket. Got it up and running today. Drove it on the highway and through town... thank the Lord. The only issue seems to be coming off idle, it hesitates for a half second and then is fine. Same issue letting off then accwlerating again. Hesitates then fine...

Got the clip from toyota today. $4 out the door. Was just a little big, just had to cut a very small piece off and went in. Got it all back in and assembled. Hope tomorrow is a happy day... Pin Head, loved your videos man, thanks for posting those. One question thought. The insulator on mine...

Heres a closer up of the pin in the solenoid

The tip on the solenoid is about a 1/4" long. Not sure how long it should be. Is that retainer shaped kinda like a capital G? Man, if that is the clip I will be a happy man...

Ya, im pretty much SOL... cant find the darn clip. Anyone have any ideas where I might find one?

Still searchin... Yes. The solenoid has a cut wire. The ground wire is fine. So, is there a solution? Can i connect it somewhere?
