Me too. I noticed a few months ago they took it off their website.

I have searched and find conflicting answers. Was headrest an option in 1974 or did it come later? I found a nice set of seats but they do not have the metal plate on the back. Was that also an option and does any company still have the plate available? thanks

What year did the third gen 5.3 come out? I know in 2007 when the 5.3 went with the afm for fuel economy they have lots of oil consumption problems(I own one). The 5.3 prior to that are good engines. The 4.8 any year is a good eng because they have never had afm. A 4.8 does not get any better...

It seems like most people out there like a 4.3 . I wouldnot take a car for free if it had a 4.3 in it! I was a delivery truck mechanic for awhile and there was about 30 chevy s10's. All the ones with a 4.3 were crap! They blow head gaskets like no tomorrow, the newer 4.3 had fuel system...

Did you ever install this kit? I have been to man a fre a few times about a year ago and they sware by this kit because how complete it is. I don't think they had the mojave kit yet. Does it ride as bad as some people say?

Can't believe it, another memphis guy! The machine shop I used to go to here is no longer open. My f1.5 got rebuilt when I was i la for a few years. It was convenient living next to manafre and spector. I will ask around though.

My fj had an electric fuel pump on it when I bought it. When I pulled the stock camshaft out I noticed the fuel pump lobe on the cam was completely worn out. It was so badly worn manafre was hesitant about taking the cam as a core for a new cam but they did.

I have a soft top with all of the bows to use it. I will pull it out tomorrow and take pics of it. I have never had it on my truck b/c I just keep it in the garage. The top is tan and is prob not in the best of shape but the bows seem to be. I will be willing to give you some cash on top of...

My temp was a little higher and big loss of power. You should be able to disconect your vac advance and cap it to run just the mechanical side if you are just putting around town. Make sure your timing is set a 7 or just a touch higher at idle with vacuum disconnected. I went with a weber 38...
