Import Driver replied to the thread My immobilizer fix.I was too frazzled to check in the moment. If it happens again hopefully I'll be able to slow myself down and check. The relay is about 1 year old OEM so if the new one is starting to act up... I don't know.

I put a new thermostat in and the temps dropped to around 195. Pretty sure the thermostat was not opening all the way. You're doing what I would do first (assuming your radiator is clean).
