Does anybody have a review/pics of the Tru-Fit vinyl installed in a 60 series? I am looking to replace the nasty carpet in mine.

Enough said. Very well stated and by your explanation it’s obvious you’re a cruiser lover at heart. Thank you for sharing. I absolutely love this setup hence the reason my 60 is built just like yours. I’ll be surprised if you’re not closing...

Hey - I am looking for radiator support brackets for a factory FJ62 radiator. Also looking for an air filter housing. The one I have does not play nicely with the fenders of the 60 series as it was designed for a HDJ81. I will likely end up...

Hey @BrickRunner ! Yep, stoked to be resurrecting it. Too cool of a truck to let rot. Your 60 looks sweet! I will keep an eye out for it when I am in Ojai next. Cheers!

Howdy neighbor! I remember seeing this one on Craigslist, and was tempted to go look at it. Cool to see it get fixed up!

Thanks - all of the vent lines are connected. I can upload some photos later on. I am hoping there is a way to get to the return line inlet without dropping the tank, but I have my doubts.

No problem technically to run a rubber hose, other than keeping it in place and secured without chafing. Just make sure the tank is still able to breathe. There should be a separator in the right hand rear quarter, behind the trim board which...

Thanks @PBcuiser - I am just going to fab something for the radiator brackets. I am also going to copy your Racor fuel filter mount location. I have it plumbed in place temporarily. OK, so odd development: there is no return fuel line going...

I got the truck started! After I figured out the glow plug wiring and bleeding the injector pipes it fired right up. Runs smoothly. Now I need to figure out fuel, coolant system, ATF cooling, brakes, and finish off electrical. I’ve been...

Left tail light lens that was warped due to heat from the fire. Indication as to how close the flames got. Fortunately as far as it got.

Sorted out the neutral safety switch such that the key now turns the starter. Validated good oil pressure with a multi-meter. Seems the gauge and the sending unit are not properly synchronized. Now working on fuel. I've had trouble finding the...

I got the starter spinning. But haven't been able to actually do so "properly" using the starter wire from the chassis wiring harness. I suspect the issue is the neutral safety switch circuit. Four of five connectors from the chassis found...

Oil does not belong in the cylinders and if the engine is free, there is no need to add it. It is only used in case of a low compression reading to load the piston rings and potentially identify them as the source of compression loss. If the...

I am imagining that the harness on the other side of the engine bay (pictured below) is for the alternator connection. Seems like there will be a number flipped harness locations relative to actual component location on the engine block as it's...

Hi All - I changed the oil and attempted to pull the glow plugs to drop some oil into the cylinders. I found access to be a little tricky, so might have to move the cross over pipe to get in there. I spun the crank with a breaker bar and it...
