Day 2, we headed to Gros Morne National park.
Gros Morne is home to the Tablelands. It's one of the only places on the planet you can walk on the Earth's mantle. The landscape quickly changed from the green mountains to an eerie dead zone...
I am looking for 2 Hutchinson rock monster wheels for a trailer project. I don’t care if they are beat up as long as they will hold air. I am building a trailer and want to consolidate the spare tire needed for the trailer or tow rig. I...
Last post for tonight: oil bath air cleaner.
Do any of you experts on here know whether the regular air filter will fit if I pull the oil bath out, or do I need the whole air cleaner assembly?
Arrived a day early. Not quite as good as I'd hoped, but then that's what buying sight unseen is all about. Still very good bones though I think.
Wouldn't start or idle without choke, but found the accelerator pump push rod had come...
I am glad to see this project keeps going when I check in. You have had more challenges than than probably most of the rest of us. Keep grinding! Nice work!
Last night. Third night of lights, and so far the best.
Salmon Glacier.
The Bus. Best halibut fish and chips ever.
Arctic Ocean at Tuk. End of the Dempster Highway.
Speaking of wreaking stuff
Like every one I have been super busy.

I loved looking in my rearview mirror only to see @Beastiethe70
“Hmmm, that kinda looks like a really narrow truck. Is it a 70 series?”
“ Yes, that’s totally a 70… Wait, it’s silver, is that Maggie?!?!?”
“YASSSSSSSSS!!!!”
My tow rig is also my trail rig. Will have gone about 3,200 miles averaging terrible mpg and rarely reaching the speed limit when we finally roll home later today.
We enjoyed almost every minute.
Just got back into town from a 3 week road trip and I put 1500 miles on the red Land Cruiser pictured below. I also met a lot of great people, including @Ditcherman and @Tank5 in the other two Cruisers.
Now back to the Star of our show…

On Monday of SAS9 took her up Mineral to Poughkeepsie to corkscrew. After the wall, which Retro cleared, had a mishap on the next obstacle and over she went...

Thank you to the organizers and staff and volunteers who put this event on! Had a blast once again, always sad when I have to leave to get home. Made it yesterday afternoon after 2000+ miles. Hats off to all that drive their rigs out and back...
@DangerNoodle was hoping to catch up with you before we all dispersed. Caught the same moonrise over Imogene!! (I am far less of a photographer though. 😅)
