I have 3 at home.
They’re like tape measures, you always have one until you need one.
But yeah, in the kit from now on.
I will say, when I needed an alternator this trip, I had an extra.
Can never have it all and that’s why we have friends.
Big thanks to all the organizers. This was my first SAS; had a great time and am looking forward to next year with a "small" list of upgrades already!
Also, thank you to our trail lead, @OlYellr who put up with our crew all week and did an...
Thanks to Casey and crew for an amazing event! We decided to keep the spirt alive and remote camped in one of my favorite spots on the San Juan on the way to Flagstaff.
Allan, thanks for letting me know about my coolant leak. Every t-bolt clamp had come loose and it looks like the nylon in my locknuts melted, which is not surprising. I was very close to losing a lower hose. I will replace the hardware with...
I will join everyone else that that expressed thanks to everyone that played a roll in putting on this event, Thank you! I had some long days, met some new people and time flew so fast. Glad to meet new friends and happy to see old ones. I...
1968/9! We’re going full stock on this bad boy, down to the bias ply tires. Building it the way Toyota would have delivered it into the world.
@POTATO LAUNCHER just enough welding to make things work. That rear sill needs addressed so the doors...
Glad you made it home Casey and everyone else. We pulled in and got unloaded about 90 minutes ago.
Only 358 days to get ready for SASX … which might include a little welding for me.
What an amazing group. Annie and I had an amazing trip. There is a sense of community that has been built here. Thank you for letting me be apart of it.
As many of you are, Annie and I are on the road for another week. Let me know if anyone...
SAS swag trailer landed safely back home about an hour ago.
We are simply humbled by the feel of community with all of you knuckleheads.
A special thanks to @CenTXFJ60, @BombCity,
@RocketCityCrzrs @cornboy ,
@80Lady, @mesa man , @Mesa Woman ...
Just putting out there that if anyone who has one of the wood maps this year or last. Should you be willing to part with it I have a complete 8274 warn winch I will offer in trade.
@Broski We were going to talk about the Rubicon sorry we didn’t fit that in. We will have catch up another time. It was good to see you again, hope the rest of your trip back goes well.
Put in just short of 500 miles.
It was to hot to stay at our regular spot 🥵 so we went to a RV resort and turned on the AC.
And hit there hot tub. Only 550 more miles to go 😂 I’m sure we will leave well before first light tomorrow to beat the heat.
It seems some sneaky S!$T snuck a label on my truck Wednesday night while I was distracted at the raffle. My winch link now pulls double duty as a thermometer. I hope you all stay healthy, so it is never put to use. 🤣
Walked around camp yesterday afternoon it was a ghost town, 90% of the Cruisers and cruiser heads were gone 😔
We’re trying to get an early start home this morning.
Another SAS in the bag !!
Great seeing everyone !!
Safe travels !!
