I just got my 75 so am currently running unladen. That said, here are my Dobinson MRR settings that I'm running: Front: High Speed Compression: 2 clicks in from full soft Low Speed Compression: 6 clicks in from full soft( I might back out 2 more...

LJ78 had drop down seats in the back, no idea if the mounting locations are the same, but probably.

how much extra weight does your 75 carry all the time? do you remember what settings you have on the MRR's? do you change them for conditions? like hwy/city driving and off road?

I had Discount Tire rebalance my wheels recently. When I left I noticed they were vibrating. I thought crappy balance ... until I noticed they put 40psi in the tires. I dropped them down to 30 and they ride much better.

Did second oil change today at 6319 miles. I intended to do the change at 5K but couldn’t get it done before a road trip last week, so with my 1st oil change at 1160 miles, that 5159 miles on the oil. Essentially the same experience as the...

On to another issue. We bought the hybrid in case we wanted to get a camper trailer or a boat sometime. Figuring the extra torque would help with the towing. About a month ago we bought a 2004 Tab 320 trailer. About 1800lbs probably as we had it...

Well, the vibration issue is still there. Dropped it off with the dealer again a few weeks ago. When I picked it up the shop Forman said that they re balanced/road force test all 4 tires and now claim that two of the tires are out of round. So...

Kurt, Thanks this is very enlightening "They have offered those same spring options for decades. Spring manufactures changed in 2005 when they went from the OME 1xx numbers to the Emu Dakar CSxxx numbers but they've had all those same options...

The Cruiser showed up this morning after a 1,700 mile road trip. They did 500 yesterday driving over a lot of mountains. No real issues to speak of, it passed the test with flying colors! Cheers

I would get a 79 for the extra cab length. I drive my 75 from southern Georgia to Alaska, it was a tight ride. Now I can’t drive mine more than like 45min before my right knee starts hurting. Aftermarket cruise control would help since it would...

PDI maybe? can't remember, you would need to look through my build thread. Mine is aluminum and so far it has held up wonderfully. the attention to detail, great welds. I think it was actually made in the US since they have a US based shop...

Having the inlet/outlet on the same side is not an efficient design. My 2H rad is that way. When I got a custom made aluminum radiator made for my 2H/12HT I had the manufacturer extend the inlet pipe in the top header tank to the filler cap, this...

When my 2H head finally cracked I had similar conditions. When I drove 55mph all seemed fine, when I drove faster than that I would loose coolant. I can’t remember if the coolant temp also rose at the same time. One thing to double check is that...

Calls it a HZ instead of a FJ, maybe a simple mistake but…what else is wrong with it? No heat looks like but AC? Looks like original paint so that’s good for checking for rust. Probably worth spending the time money to check it out in person or...
