Definitely not stock. Stock has a horizontal rod that goes towards the left fender, where it may or may not transition to more linkage. Yours looks like they tried to make the ball work with a cable that pulls towards the valve cover. There was...
It wasn't complicated at all, but there was a lot of surface rust under the old weather stripping. Do the passenger door first, then the driver door will look better and you won't obsess over it.
I really do believe it is possible to remove my old raggedy dash and install my new dash pad without lowering the windshield. I still don’t know exactly how that happens yet, but I believe the helpers here who told me that they were able to do...
Split case transfer cases came on 8/80 ‘81 model year land cruisers and later. The years you specified had the 3spd transfer case (meaning the transfer case that came mounted to the 3spd transmission). So which are you looking for?
30yrs is a fair piece of realestate to wander on. I like kicking around on that ground myself. Pretty sure I had more hair then. 🤔

FJ40 Land Cruiser Roll Bar. All Steel. Top hoop looks different from others I have seen. The top hoop does not have roll bar pads. I think the sides are reversed. Not rusty. Pickup in Newnan, GA. $250
I just watched Idocracy again the other day. Its not a comedy, it's a documentary. One that his been coming to fruition since Mike Judge scribbled an idea on paper 20 years ago. Pure genius that man.
I have all of those. Ive seen the hinges and latch aftermarket on fleabay for crazy cheap prices, but have no idea whether they're any good.
I have a header on the shop floor at the moment. I'll try and snap a picture tomorrow.
