Nice family day trip up to Santa Barbara for lunch and then hit the beach on our way back.
We saw a really well built out GX camping south of Faria Beach. Hello, if you're on here.
Next round of update... Found out the previous owner must have applied window film to the truck, and then the dealer removed it off of the 4 doors, but left the 3 cargo windows tinted. Upon metering them at the tint shop, found overall light...
Spent a few hours yesterday and today with the wheels off on jackstands deep cleaning all sorts of nooks and crannies under the GX. This forum is named correctly. I'm pretty sure there was like a pound of mud inside the vanes of each brake disc...
It there's air in the system the pedal will be soft and will travel farther, but the braking level will remain consistent. A sinking pedal would be a bad master cylinder. Or maybe a slave cylinder that's leaking, but you'd see fluid leaking from...
Sounds like your brakes need to be bleed. If I'm not mistaken, it's not something you can just shade tree, I think you need Toyota's Techstream software on a PC to bleed breaks.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
DR KDSS 👍
Wearing one of Dom's T-shirts as I'm typing this. This switch is worth getting if you're off-roading or dirt-roading above 12 MPH in 4WD Hi. The factory KDSS only cuts off in 4WD Lo at 12 MPH or less. I have heard it is nice for...
Exactly as Acrad posted. Not only can you get live tire pressure but also the tire temperatures.
When I'm airing down/up, I sit in the drivers seat, out of the heat/snow (whichever) in the comfort of my cab and watch as the the tires fill up or...
This will.. as well as temperature.

I had a classmate in my Basic Intel course at Ft. Huachuca who made a similar comment. He grew up in western PA and graduated from West Point. We were talking before leaving for Thanksgiving exodus (it was 90° that morning) and he told me he'd...
My 2019 has always been in Texas and has zero rust. After living in PA for 35 years, it blows my mind. Sometimes I crawl under it just to admire how clean and rust-free everything is.
I bet. I test drove an '87 Mister Two when I was a teenager and it'll always be "the one that got away." It wouldn't have been a great car for a mountain kid to commute in, but it sure would've been fun. I ended up with my first of 6 Subarus instead.
The tank isn’t installed yet. It was late in the day yesterday when things were getting started. LRA says it is a 7 hour job.
But the main tank is near empty, so I should get the full blast of a $160 to $200 fill up. Due to how this tank works...
My Chevy diesel pickup reads 625-640 on the “mile to empty” display on the dash. I love that but, the Hydrochlorothiazide says otherwise
@PoindAxster have you figured out what kind of distance you can cover with that new fuel volume?
Well I found this chinesium part so I might be able to get it to work. I might as well replace the cap covers and body of both mirrors as well as the folding gears (if broken teeth exist) while I'm at it. I had planned on adding strobes and...
