I just used a wire coat hanger. Use the loop on the end of the coat hanger to grab the end of the spring and pull down. Popped right off. However, that was after I tried about 5 other ways to get them off with no success.... ;) I haven't...
So, you see that…. @Jdc1 pays attention to the details… I’m happy to know there is a new windshield…he has to see it polished and clean…

I'll keep praying to keep this one as is and restore it myself. I talked to the owner, and he said it has a lot of memories for the family, so it is not for sale. I told him to call me if you want to restore it🫡
The biggest takeaway I have, it would have been nice to have more time to finish some of the smaller details. That being said, I'm glad I made the decisions that I did and moved back out west.
