Ill be there at least Friday, Saturday, coming home Sunday.

Staying at summers.

I'm ok with it. I understand the trailer queen's reasons. And so far its just us.

Speaking of shaking down....

Once I re welded Marks anti-wrap bar, I mocked it up to find that I don't have any room for a conventional anti-wrap bar....:frown:

So I made an unconventional one...

Then I went for a nice Easter Sunday drive to my parents, and broke it....

So now I must make ginger bar 1.1 strong enough to be able to handle driving around town....and hopefully humping a 10ft waterfall in 11.4:1....:rolleyes:
 
I'm in as long as my truck is running. Plan is to have it wired up, mounted, and get the drive shafts out to a shop for lengthening this week and get other parts ordered for fuel and what not.
 
I'll be there, truck might be if I get off my ass and get some work done on it. What are the bathrooms like at the Badlands campgrounds? Is the price about the same? The corner where you guys were camping seemed far enough away from the masses to work. Although they did charge me and Richard just to drive in and visit.

Basicly as usual I up for anything and anyplace.

I plan on being there Friday to Sunday. I like summers camp, but I really don't care which one as long as we can have a good time.
 
John, I hope you beef up that anti wrap bar pretty good. I saw one guy break his s*** just driving down the road into the badlands. Nasty place...

I did indeed.

I added beef to ginger bar 1.1. I added scab plates to bridge the joint top and bottom. I also redid the welds with man welds, and welded both sides. On ginger bar 1.0 I was thinking about the forces in reverse, and laid lil welds...

Ill drive her to work tomorrow and see what i can break.
 
Got to work....Its still in one piece! So I know I can get groceries and cruise the mall for high school chicks, perfect.

Once I get home Ill put it in low low low and romp on it. At this point I'm concerned about the diff cover that I'm welded to. They aren't as thick as most people think. I don't want to rip the welds out of it, and I also don't want to deform it, I may just brace it up to the housing tubes with some DOM, as I originally planned.
 
I should make this trip. I would most likely just spend Friday night and them come home late Saturday. That is, unless my son wants to hang out for longer. He had expressed an interest and I'll bring him if he still wants to come. He's a Junior in high school, so ya'll shouldn't need to tone it down very much. If I come by myself I'll probably stay Saturday night, too.

Now I need to finish all those little things I've been putting off.

We don't believe in toning down, its dishonest, and it just invites future toning down.

But i seriously don't know where this reputation of ours came from. I never thought we were all that bad.
