It's not x-mas for the rest of us.. I can't see squat :(

It's Woody's database......honest. :p

oooooooo Lug Nuts!!!! :D

those are the larger nuts correct...

wait...that didn't sound too good

Yep those are the big nuts us early guys have:bounce2:

So how many big nuts do you have anyway Jim?

I can see the pictures just fine. I hope that's not all your spare parts collection. After all the 25 you parted out I would think you would have a semi trailer full.

I see tht fuel pump I'm missing. How did you end up with it:rolleyes:

Why not throw on a set of Husky Hubs or a maybe a set of Cutless Hubs. You know you want to. I might trade a set of drive plates for set good OEM hub caps with the factory cuts. Otherwise I'm going to need the drive plates. I am of course talking about the correct early hub caps.

Here's a trick question. I have a early 76 FJ40 that has drive plates from the factory. I have to keep the drive plates on because the cruiser wouldn't move with free wheeling not locked and the transfer case not locked.

These were just the extras that came with the latest 25. Johnny, the hand primer pump died on the trip to the Catamount, and he saved it. :)

I've got bags full of big nuts.............. Probably three sets.

Wes, I may have an extra set of plates, I want these because of the brand new caps.

John, I'm not going to say anything about your '76 RAV4 ........ ;)

No one noticed the genuinely cracked and miserable FJ25 steering wheel?

dudes.....

I have seen F135 valve covers in both silver AND in black. What was OEM on my cruiser? I painted mine silver just because ....well....I thought it was oem and looked cool.

Am I mistaken?

Dallas

I've only ever known black as the original color, but I can be mistaken.

I too noticed the steering wheel but like all of mine it's not in the greatest shape. I probably going to modify a early 40 steering to use on a restored FJ25. I've had better luck finding those in okay shape.

Well if the pump no good you might as well let me have it.

Dallas,

Mine is the same way, I wonder if it was an FJ45 thing????

Three FJ25 valve covers, three FJ40 valve covers, plus the one I send LandCruiserSteve to install on the F145 in his FJ25 he once owned. All of them black. Factory lit. shows black too.

I've seen a pale green painted heads more than once on the early F135. Which seems funny But I don't believe that's the color from the factory. Don't know much about early chevy motors, were these colors on the early chevy straight six?

The chevy straight 6 I have is probably from a 58 or so Bel Air, and the valve cover is silver...

Well, do you guys think a silver valve cover distracts from a restoration? If so, I'll buy new decals and paint it black :)

You did some a great job on your '63 that I would not hesitate to go black
