David,
By my count, you now have 5 "Rock Ware Drag Link" threads going here in our club section on 'Mud. Please learn how to appropriately use the Forum. This isn't an e-mail list where you post up random messages. All you would have needed to do is find your first "Rock Ware" thread and keep adding to it.

The next time each of us accesses the HDC forum we will see "New" next to your Rock Ware Drag Link thread and it will be at the top of everyone's list of threads. This "new" icon will enable us to see that you have added a picture or another post. Dormant threads will sink to the 2nd, 3rd, and further down the list of pages.

Geeez, I tried dropping the hint when I merged the first two.

Like don't be saying $hit that the person you say it about won't want, for example, their kids to read about in a few years. A moderator should be taking care of that too. Let's lighten up on the personal slams.

I'm telling you, he is padding his post count :flipoff2:

As far as being personal, it ain't so. Stating forum rules and not creating unnecessary/useless threads ain't personal attacks.

I think if David was trying to pad his count, he'd be off on some thread unknown to us.

As far as the comment on personal attacks, I'm not talking about this thread. I'm talking in general.

I wouldn't worry too much about that Steve. The banter here on mud takes a bit to get accustomed to.

Regulars often take shots at each other that a casual observer would think poorly of. I reality it's just a game and the participants are fully aware of it.

What did I say I should have deleted? :grinpimp:

Steve, what works for others also works for you. If you find an offending post let me know. Other folks do. And Dan's right ... we all take shots at each other, yourself included. It's all in good fun, and while the new folks might not see it, we know each other well and it usually just rolls off. If we can't laugh at ourselves, who should we laugh at?

Whoa,

I was just kidding about the name rhyming. No need to take it so personal. Whatever I have done to hurt you I am sorry. But please don't call me a 5th grader. it is uncalled for.

I've gotten laid with that nickname.....

How would a nickname of Toner help with your getting ..... lucky?

So, should we vote if I should nuke this post ... even though it is funny?
:D :D :D :D :D :D

You've wounded my inner child Rory. I'm leaving the sandbox and going home.

KILL THIS IGNUNT-*SS THREAD _I_ (started)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David,
As the "owner" of the thread (the person that started it), you can delete the thread yourself if you want it deleted. That is a software feature we didn't get with Yahoo and e-mail. You can also edit your posts if/when you say something you wish you had never said.... but that will probably never happen with you. :D

As our HDC moderator, Jon will delete inappropriate threads if he needs to. He is doing an excellent job as moderator and has only had to edit a few and move a few threads.
